The Brothers of Christ

The Brothers of Christ(BC) is a religious congregation founded by Ven. Aloysius Schwartz, an American missionary priest in Seoul, Korea on May 10, 1981, to respond to the reality of poverty, suffering and deprivation of the poorest of the poor.

The congregation supervises and maintains a program that provides shelter and training to the destitute and homeless elderly people and young adult in Korea, the Philippines and Mexico.

VISION

The Institution envisions to rehabilitate the physically and mentally-challenged men and train the out of school youth in different technical /vocational skills, enabling them to attain the maximum use of limited capabilities and potentials and at the same time, teach them and lead by example, the Marian virtues of simplicity, charity, gratitude and joy.

MISSION

The Institution, inspired by its Patroness, the Virgin of the Poor, shall direct its energy and resources to the physically and mentally-challenged destitute and homeless elderly people and young adult men and the out-of-school youth, by rendering various forms of assistance and service that include direct evangelization and value formation, as well as livelihood trainings, self-help projects, recreational facilities, moral and spiritual values based on the Gospel.

GOAL

Provision of care, protection and training to physically and mentally-challenged men and the out-of-school youth, enabling him to be less dependent on others and attaining their optimum capabilities and potentials.

spiritual values to prepare and mold them to be the hope of the society.
